Please Contribute!
We learn by sharing, so please send in your ideas and stories, and make them a part of this site. So many educators are implementing meaningful and useful SEL strategies and programming into their practice, however, if these are not widely shared, we cannot build upon each others strengths and successes, to best support our students. Often the best resources are each other. You know what you have been doing and what is working. This site and the information on it can only grow and remain useful if it is built upon the contributions of those of us who are doing this work. Many of us believe that other people have great ideas, but we don't ourselves; this just is not the case. If you are are thinking that you don't have anything of value to add, watch "Obvious to You. Amazing to Others" and you may change your mind. Please share your ideas and stories- we all add value!

Thank you to Avi Luxenburg, teacher of grades 4-10, graduate and post graduate students, and parent, for sharing the following idea/resource:
"I have used this Mindfulness information with Grades 7, 8, and 9 and they seem to work quite well. I shared them with a group of about 50 education students in a workshop I was invited to give and they loved them: https://sites.google.com/site/childrenslifeonline/mindfulness
There is some background information on Mindfulness, the ability to have the material read for you was a bit of a hit. The audio guided practice is okay if you don't mind the sound of my voice. I think the mindful eating one is way too fast. Anyway... they are yours to use or not. Avi"
